Amanda Lane made her first connection with yoga at James Madison University in 2003 as a way to connect with community and gain insight into managing chronic back pain. After graduating with a B.S. in Health Sciences, Assessment and Promotion, she dove head first into the fitness industry and began her Personal Training career in 2008.
Yoga became a weekly routine
as an active recovery day at
first, then another day was
added to learn more about body alignment. Once Amanda began practicing 3+ days per week, she noticed the benefits of the entire Mind-Body-Spirit connection. This made the decision very clear that her next move would be to pursue the path of becoming a Yoga Teacher.

Amanda has been working for more than 12 years to help others achieve healthier lifestyles through movement. She currently has a 200hr RYT with a foundation in Ashtanga Vinyasa and is a full time Yoga Teacher and is a Certified Personal Trainer with the American College of Sports Medicine.

It is Amanda's mission to positively impact, connect, and empower others by creating a safe space for exploration of the whole self: Mind, Body, Spirit, and Breath. When Amanda is not teaching yoga or working with clients, you can find her outdoors, traveling, cooking vegan meals, dogsitting, and continuing to be a student of the practice. She is an avid journaler with an attainable goal to publish a book. Amanda loves finding new creative outlets, having meaningful experiences, and curating playlists for her classes!
