Taekwondo

TAEKWONDO – The Way (Do) of the Foot (Tae) and the Fist (Kwon) Taekwondo is the art of self-defense that originated in Korea. The name was selected for its appropriate description of the art: Tae  (foot), Kwon  (hand), Do  (art). As a World Taekwondo Federation school, we at Elite Core Martial Arts strive to provide each student with a rigorous, competitive, and yet fun environment to get the highest level of Taekwondo training which will equip them with the knowledge and ability to have a safer, healthier, and more confident lifestyle.
In Taekwondo class, students practice traditional technique including, but not limited to, kicking, punching, blocking and forms. Classes are structured and students embrace respect and discipline, while having fun and learning a great skill that carries over to all aspects of life.
