Master Instructor Shelley Crawford began training in the art of Taekwondo in 1982 through Blue Dragon Martial Arts.  When Blue Dragon closed in 2016, Master Shelley was instrumental in reopening the school as Elite Core Martial Arts and worked as the business manager for the first two years of its life.

 

In 2018, Master Shelley moved with her husband, Scott Crawford, to North Carolina, where she continues instructing private-lesson Taekwondo and women’s self-defense under affiliation with Elite Core.

 

Master Shelley believes that situational awareness & confidence is key, and that it becomes ingrained in us through continued TKD training.  Master Shelley’s motto is: “when you KNOW how to defend yourself, you rarely have to.”

 

Master Shelley holds a 4th Dan Black Belt in Taekwondo.
