Master Instructor Ernis Lovo began his martial arts career in 1982, when he was nine years old, at Muay Thai and Kickboxing: Best in Mexico CDMX (Mexico City). The training there was intense often requiring three eight-hour days of training a week. Master Ernis trained at the school until he broke his ankle in 1987 when he was fourteen.

Master Ernis emigrated to the United States the next year, in 1988. In 1995, he began training at Blue Dragon Martial Arts in Timonium, Maryland under Grandmaster Han Young Kim. He trained there until the school was purchased by Grandmaster Lee in 2016 and had its name changed to Elite Core Martial Arts.

Master Ernis holds a 5th Dan Black Belt in Taekwondo, a 1st Dan Black Belt in Kickboxing and a 1st Dan Black Belt in Hapkido. He has also practiced Brazilian Jujitsu extensively.

Master Ernis teaches our Saturday morning all ages class as well as our Tuesday evening teen and adult class.
